Inga Aune holds a BSc in Chemistry, and an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, University of Oslo.
Inga’s master thesis involved measuring blood glucose regulating peptide hormones; insulin, glucagon, somatostatin-14 and urocortin-3, by nano-LC-MS/MS. She is experienced in working with various analytical methods and techniques, including chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopic techniques, and immunoassays.
At Vitas, Inga mainly works with method development and routine analysis of dried blood spots, measuring substances like fatty acids, glucose, HbA1c, cholesterol and carotenoids.
