Ahmed holds a Bachelor in pharmacy from Mogadisho University UNISO in Somalia. In 2005 he studied laboratory technique in the Netherlands. After his studies he obtained an employment as a laboratory engineer and teamleader for an analytical service company in the Netherlands before he moved to Norway in 2008. In 2019 he was employed as a laboratory engineer for an analytical service company and came to Vitas in 2019 were his field of expertise is dried blood spots, fatty acid analysis and metal analysis.
